(i) Examples of heavy chemicals are:

Calcium trioxocarbonate (IV) CaCO3.
Note: These chemicals are called heavy chemicals because they are used extensively in industries and are produced in very large quantities.

(ii) Examples of fine chemicals are:
Bulk of laboratory reagents and additives.
Note: Chemicals and drugs produced in small quantities for specific purposes and to a very high degree of purity are called fine chemicals.
